If you missed out Tuesday night Define Definition put together a quick wrap-up video of Princess Denisia’s intimate concert at Vaso.

I was spinning at the joint and it was hosted by Fresh Johnson (102.9;www.freshjohnson.com & Jus.Cookie (@BoysEatCookies/The Cookie Jar)

Also had a couple opening acts. Izzy McFly and R&B group Image Musiq. Both of them did their thing and i’m looking forward to hearing more from them.

Happy Labor Day folks.

We’re continuing the 30 for 30 series. For those not in the know i’m the resident DJ at this monthly event in New Orleans called Red Clay Soul. RCS is a 3 part event. You get hit with a slow neo-soul vibe to kick it off with myself. I spin some of the greatest and latest in Neo-Soul and R&B. Then you get a great live performance. Once the performance is over we get the party started.

Septembers RCS event was cancelled because of Tropical Storm Lee. This months scheduled performers were to be Elliot Luv and Grammy Nominated singer/songwriter Anthony David.

Since the event was cancelled I decided to try and fit Red Clay Soul into a mix. It’s normally a 6 hour event. So I tried the best I could to give the vibe of RCS in about 90 minutes. Tracklist and link are below.

There’s some R&B/Neo-Soul, songs from the featured performers, I took it back. I even did a mini MJ tribute mix like I would’ve this past weekend. So enjoy the tunes and experience Red Clay Soul from the comfort of your home.
